Welcome to Sampson Road

The Sampson Road Community is one of six in Dahlgren, Virginia. With relaxing views of the Potomac River, these spacious homes are available for O6 and above members. 

These homes average 2,500 square-feet, and include a basement, two to four-and-a-half bathrooms, hardwood floors, fireplaces, and a sitting room off the master bedroom.  Current renovations will bring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, updated light fixtures and central air and heating to all homes.

The Sampson Road Community is pet-friendly with a two-pet maximum. Amenities include playgrounds, basketball courts, walking trails, picnic areas, swimming and a multi-purpose recreation and youth center. Additional on-base facilities include a cinema, bowling, a library, an exchange and a commissary.

The renowned Dahlgren School (Pre-K-8th Grade) which is located on base is the only DoD Navy school in the country. To take advantage of this opportunity all students must reside on the installation in Lincoln Military Housing. King George Middle School, and King George High School are located only a short distance from the installation, and the Mary Washington Hospital is a 30-minute drive from base.
