The Metro Bus makes several stops in the Indian Head area including a couple on base for anyone commuting into Washington DC. Indian Head is located about 45 minutes south of Washington DC. Also available on base is Dashiell Marina which offers a great escape over the Potomac River for any one who travels by boat or kayak, or if you enjoy a little fishing.
