Welcome to 16th St. Yuma

The 16th Street Housing Community features spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath units just seven miles from the station.  MCAS Yuma offers two communities to choose from. On-station units range from 2 bedroom, 1 bath to 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, single family homes.

Each community has been newly built or renovated during 2002 to 2006. Homes come equipped with central air, gas range, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a refrigerator. On-station homes include either a covered carport or garage.

With the exception of 16th Street second-floor units; Yuma is a pet-friendly community, with a two-pet maximum. Amenities include two pools, 23 covered tot lots, a multi-function club house and a gym located in the 16th street housing office. Among other conveniences, the base features a Carl's Jr®, Subway®, Rice King, Benito's Pizza, Desert Perk Coffee Shop, GNC, a Main Exchange, Commissary and a Travel & Ticketing center.

Nearby outdoor activities include: the Butter Cup Sand Dunes, Lake Martinez, the Colorado River and Wetlands Park; with major shopping centers and restaurants available in nearby Yuma Palms Mall. In addition to an on-station medical base, Yuma Regional Medical and Urgent and Prime Care Facilities are situated within a five-mile radius from the station.
