The charming town of Lakeside is home to a well-attended line up of annual events, including the Lakeside Rodeo, the Annual Chili Cook-off and the colorful Western Days Parade.
In addition, the surrounding area is filled with popular attractions that include the world famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld and Balboa Park—the nation’s largest urban park—and home of the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center with its IMAX theater, botanical gardens and a classic carousel.
