Welcome to Upshur/RodgersPet Information
These homes generally house Key and Essential personnel that have been assigned to duty at the United States Naval Academy. These homes line the perimeter of the parade grounds of Worden Field, which hosts all of the Brigade of Midshipmen Dress Parades. The residents of Upshur/Rodgers have front row seats to all the festivities. This is truly a Navy tradition not to be missed.
Built in 1892, Upshur/Rodgers features beautiful brick walkways and tree-lined sidewalks only adding to the charm of this neighborhood. Recently renovated, great care was taken to preserve the historical moldings, hardwood flooring, ornate fireplace mantels, and overall charm. The updated kitchens feature cherry cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and new lighting fixtures. The bathrooms are updated with new fixtures and lighting. Original tile and built-in cabinets were also preserved and restored. To merge charm with modern living, most rooms are wired for cable, Internet, and phone service, and several rooms include ceiling fans. Each home features a screened-in porch, private fenced in backyard, and one car garage.
The opportunity to reside in one of these historic homes continues to be considered an honor and a privilege.
Neighborhood amenities include two pools with adjacent snack shops, several tot-lots and landscaped playgrounds. There are a wide variety of shops and services at the entrance of NSA Annapolis, and Upshur/Rodgers’ proximity to downtown Annapolis assures easy access to the restaurants and fine shops along the waterfront. The nearby Annapolis Mall and the shopping centers along Route 2 offer plenty of opportunities for shopping, recreation, and dining. There is a wide selection of K-12 schools in the surrounding area.
There is a two-pet maximum for either cats or dogs. For more information regarding breed and other restrictions, please contact the Lincoln Military Housing District Office. No pet deposits and no monthly pet fees are required.
